Changing the Conversation Workshop
Conversations should be constructive.
But so often they are battlegrounds instead. We need to recover the lost art of honest and open dialogue. In this workshop, Brandon distills decades of experience and study into an intensely practical how-to guide to speaking truth (and listening) with love. Filled with ready-to-use tips and tricks, this workshop is for everyone who longs to have more collaborative and meaningful conversations.
Your host: Brandon Booth
Brandon has over 25 years of ministry experience. He studied philosophy in college and later received a Masters in Historical Theology. Since then he has been a nation-wide speaker and director for academic leadership camps, school teacher and administrator, and most recently the co-founder of Signpost Inn along with his wife Liv.
Brandon is currently an apprentice spiritual director where he is able to practice and hone his own communication skills, and help others listen to and dialogue with God.
Based on his book by the same title, in this workshop Brandon will help you:
- Discover what drives our defensiveness in conversation, and what to do about it.
- Develop your “compassion muscles" and appreciate people's complexity.
- Genuinely listen to others so they truly feel understood.
- Build trust and argue peacefully.
