Peter Gammell, is an on-staff pastor and ministry ambassador with Signpost Inn. Born and raised in Maryland he loved crabbing in the bay with his family. A high school missions trip to Nicaragua created a deep passion for pastoral ministry. Guided by God through this passion, he attended Liberty University for both his undergraduate degree and his Master’s of Divinity in Biblical Studies. He has been called as a Deployed Pastor and Chaplain to Signpost Inn by Redeemer Lutheran Church in Damascus, Maryland.

These days Peter is especially drawn to helping people find their significance and security in God's love because he himself struggles to do so. He currently lives in Cañon City, Colorado with his wife Rachel, and he loves hearing and telling stories, board games, the outdoors, and good conversations. He and Rachel are also expecting their first child in late May of 2024!

As part of his ministry with Signpost Inn he also works as an on-call chaplain at St. Thomas More Hospital, which is just around the block from our offices.
